CSREC Member Privacy Notice

Who we are

Central Scotland Regional Equality Council Limited hereafter referred to as CSREC is a Scottish Charity registered with The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) with registration number SC010373. We are also a Company Limited by Guarantee registered with Companies House with registration number SC208570.  Our registered office is Rooms 1A and 1B, Community Education Centre, Park Street, Falkirk  FK1 1RE.

This privacy notice tells you what data we collect and what we use it for.

What information do we collect?

When you apply to become an CSREC member we collect: details about you or your organisation, and the name, address, phone and email details of the person you nominate to be your CSREC Member Contact.

How we use the information?

We will use the CSREC Member Contact details to communicate with you about your application for membership – to tell you if and when your application is approved, and to communicate with you about annual renewal if you are a paying member. If you are a full, associate or organisationsal CSREC member, we will also use your details to send you details of our AGM, EGM or other meetings that require us to notify you.

We automatically register CSREC Member Contacts to receive our CSREC Member Bulletin – you can unsubscribe from this at any time by contacting us on 01324 610950 or by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the bulletin.

Full and associate CSREC members and organisations will also be automatically registered to receive details of CSREC events and job vacancies as part of your member benefits package.

For as long as you are subscribed to the CSREC Member Bulletin, we may also send you occasional ‘special’ Member Bulletins – regarding CSREC news, campaigns, products and services.

We will not share your information with any third parties unless we have asked for your consent to do so.

If your application to join CSREC is unsuccessful or we cannot process your application for some reason, your data will be retained for 6 months then deleted.

When individuals and organisations cease to be members of CSREC, data is retained for 6 years and then deleted.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.

You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information.
